Batnips Return

This week on The Pod Charles Cinecast, presented by The Prince Charles Cinema, our hosts Jonathan Foster and Fil Freitas return to the mean streets of Gotham to welcome a former son back into society, while trying not to get smitten by a kitten.

It's Tim Burton's 1992 wild and crazy follow-up to his 1989 classic – BATMAN RETURNS, starring Michael Keaton as the Caped Crusader, Danny DeVito as Penguin, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman and Christopher Walken as Max Schreck!

Full of sexual innuendo, violence, and some of the best villains the series has seen, join us in this super fun adventure down memory lane with one of the best Batman movies of all-time. From the acting, make-up, Tim Burton's gothic Gotham at Christmas and Danny Elfman's iconic score, it's a rare example of a sequel giving the original a run for its money. "A mistletoe can be deadly if you eat it... but a kiss could be deadlier if you mean it."
