What We Do In The Shadows : An Interview With Some Vampires

This week on The Pod Charles Cinecast, presented by The Prince Charles Cinema, our hosts Jonathan Foster and Fil Freitas travel to Wellington, New Zealand to document a peculiar house sharing situation...

It's October! So that means it's Spooky Ooky season on the podcast and we introduce our new Halloween mini-arc – VAMPIRES, WITCHES, AND WEREWOLVES, OH MY! Over the next four weeks we'll present a different horror film, as chosen by our listeners, based on Vampires, Witches, Werewolves, and Oh, My (Grab Bag).

It's Week One : Vampires, and our listeners have decided that we are sinking our teeth into Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement's 2014 horror-comedy mockumentary WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS! With the loveable energy of Flight of the Concords, the vibes of a This is Spinal Tap or Best in Show, and love for vampire lore throughout pop culture, this insanely fun film is easily one of the best comedies of the last decade.

Is it one of the best vampire movies ever? Tune in to find out...
