In our 3rd Week of the Nepotism aka Children of Men arc, we discuss the iconic coming-of-age tale STAND BY ME, directed by Rob Reiner, son of Carl Reiner.

This 1986 film adapted from Stephen King's novella "The Body", starring Wil Wheaton, Corey Feldman, Jerry O'Connell, and the late-great River Phoenix (plus Kiefer Sutherland and John Cusack), is a master class in storytelling. A cool 85 minutes of adventure, thrills, heart-felt moments, insanely good acting from child stars, and yo mama jokes – what more could you ask for?
